My name is Gabriela Avelino, and I’m a Filipino-American writer of poetry & prose. The Midnight Diaries is my little space for collecting the tales I conjure up. These tales tend to be on the darker side of dark fantasy. There are ghosts, monsters, spirits & sirens. Moments of grief and sorrow and despair, but also moments of hope, catharsis, and a deep reverence for the beauty in the world.
